Al-Mutaffifin 83:14–17
A stain over their hearts
The meaning, simply
No! Rather, the sins they used to commit have covered their hearts. No! That Day they will be screened off from seeing their Lord, then they will burn in Hellfire, and it will be said: 'This is what you used to deny.'

Think with me
A sin leaves a stain, and asking forgiveness wipes it away. What do we say to ask forgiveness?
