Your child understands Juz Amma and Juz Tabarak through pictures, and remembers them by voice
Suwar Quran (“pictures of the Quran”) is a free site that explains the surahs of Juz Amma and Juz Tabarak to your child verse by verse: a picture that fixes each meaning, recitation by well-known reciters, the meaning in a child’s words, and one question that opens a conversation. For children aged 7 to 10 with a parent, older ages later. Every surah has two ways in: the picture lessons, or the mind map for memorising.
Start with today’s lesson
Do you know what Allah did to the people of the elephant? A big army came with an elephant to destroy the Kaaba, and Allah made their plan fail.
Why Suwar Quran?
- A picture for every verseThe name says it: surahs through pictures. One picture per verse expresses its general meaning, so the verse stays in the child’s memory.
- Recitation and repetitionAl-Minshawi and Al-Dossary, and the teaching recitation where children repeat after the sheikh.
- A meaning for a child, and a questionFrom Al-Tafsir Al-Muyassar in a child's words, and one bedtime question to talk about.
- Two ways through a surahPicture lessons one by one, or a mind map for memorising: a branch per meaning, an icon per verse.
