82The surah's big idea
Our Generous Lord shaped us well, and noble angels write our deeds
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
One branch per meaning, one node per verse. Reveal the branches one at a time; listen to each branch and repeat it before the next.

إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتْ
- ٢
وَإِذَا ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتْ
- ٣
وَإِذَا ٱلْبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتْ
- ٤
وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
- ٥
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
On the Last Day the sky will split, the stars will scatter, the seas will burst into one another, and the graves will be turned over and their people brought out. Then every soul will know what it sent ahead and what it left behind.
