Why verses 16–19 of Surah Al-Qiyamah were revealed

The story as it comes in the sound hadith, in simple words for children.

When revelation came to the Prophet ﷺ he used to move his lips and tongue quickly along with Jibril, wanting to memorise the Quran and forget nothing of it, and this was hard for him. So Allah sent down «Do not move your tongue with it to hasten it; it is upon Us to collect it and to recite it»: listen and be still, We will keep it in your heart and have you recite it. After that he listened, and once Jibril left he recited it just as it had been recited.
